It’s warm outside, but your solarium can provide a pleasant indoor environment. However, with the advent of summer, your large, beautiful windows can let in excessive heat, making the conditions unpleasant or unbearable.

Air Conditioning
If your device is powerful enough, you can install ventilation openings for heating, ventilation and air conditioning in your solarium so that you can control the temperature directly with a thermostat. Or, to give your sunbed a special climate, you can choose a window unit or system without ducts. We recommend combining this approach with other ways to cool your sunbed to avoid increasing your energy costs, as the air conditioner needs to work more to cool extra space.
Insulation
The insulation acts as a climatic barrier between the indoor and outdoor space of the solarium. Some homeowners ask to install foam or GRP inside the walls with an excellent R-value. Insulation between the floor beams is also a strategic method for capturing the chilled air. In addition, it can hold back heat in winter.
Moisture control
When humidity is high, the air seems dense and sticky. If you have ever stopped by and immediately decided that it is too hot in your sunbed, excessive humidity can be a major contributing factor. Add an air dryer to the room to reduce humidity and keep the environment refreshing.
Adequate airflow
The airflow allows prolonged heat to circulate from the solarium, effectively keeping the space cool. Consider installing a ceiling fan or placing the tower fan on the floor to direct air to your ventilation. In some places, you can take advantage of transverse winds that sweep warm air out of the solarium in Dallas or in other cities.
Window treatments
Depending on the position and direction of the sun, its rays may become particularly intense at certain hours of the day. When control procedures such as blinds, curtains and blinds are installed, the sun protection room cools down, filtering out some of the harsh conditions of heat and glare and providing an aesthetic touch.
Window coloring
While the shade of the window blocks some of the bright sunlight from shining through the glass, it also significantly reduces the heat from solar amplification. You may consider installing windows with tinted film during construction or applying it after it is needed.
