Hi Everyone: I didn't realized agoraphobia was a big issue until a few weeks ago when my client called me for additional services. She stated she just couldn't go into crowds for a long period of time and she needed me to start shopping for her. I'm currently her families' personal assistant. I assist them with their daily tasks, personally and for business. As I read more about agoraphobia...I realize there may be other people who may need my assistance while they find a resolution for agoraphobia. Hi. am seeking friends who have anxiety or depression type problems. where we can get to know each other and support each other through the bad times, but also be happy and positive and good friends through the good times. ive noticed that a lot of message boards are full of doom and gloom where they just go on and on about their illness and nothing about them or their life. no matter how bad my illness is i dont do that, i think of the other person and try to be happy and lighthearted when im with them or chatting to them. if i wanted to just go on and on about how had i feel id pay a counsellor to listen. get in touch if you understand and agree.

I have a fear of the dark since I was little. I have been leaving the light on since I was 4 years old. I am now 22. I have a fear of cars, ants, i use to fear water. I thought the statue of liberty was going to kill me. I am afraid of alot of things. I am bipolar. But i use to have a fear of going to hospitals hotels resturants ect. Afraid for my boyfriends to see me naked. afraid of food. What causes this?????

FROM WHAT I AM READING I THINK THAT I HAVE THIS CONDITION. I KEEP THINKING THAT THIS IS STRESS RELATED, BUT IN THE PAST I HAVE HAD PANIC ATTACKS. I NOW DON'T FEEL COMFORTABLE LEAVING MY HOUSE AND FEEL LIKE I AM OUT OF CONTROL WHEN I GO ANYWHERE. DON'T FEEL COMFORTABLE IN MY OWN SKIN.

I just joined Encourage Connection yesterday. I sometimes get panicy, and do not want to resort to drugs, though I realize they can help. I want to try the natural approach. This is a good medium to confer with others that have the same feelings.

I am 23 years old and just recently started suffering anxiety/ panic attacks.. I just wanted to post this message so everyone has an awareness of how serious drugs are.. Be careful they can have lasting effects on your health. I found the linden method and my panic attacks stopped instantly and never returned! I still suffer from anxiety, but am determined to find a wayto beat it with out meds! Wish me luck and remeber SAY NO TO DRUGS!
